Stewarding OS is operations software for hotel stewarding departments. This page explains what the service stores and why. It applies to this website and to the Stewarding OS application behind the sign-in page.

Who the information is about

The application is used by department managers and staff. Accounts are created by a department administrator; there is no public sign-up. Visitors who only read these public pages are not asked for any personal information.

What is stored

Cookies

The service uses only the cookies it needs to work: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, an optional "keep me signed in" cookie if you tick that box, and small preference cookies that remember your theme and language. There are no advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

How it is used

Information is used only to run the service for your department: building schedules, recording completed work, sending the notifications you asked for, and keeping accounts secure. It is not sold, rented or used for advertising.

Where it is kept

Data is stored on the service's hosting provider in a database used only for this installation, and every connection to it is encrypted with HTTPS. Page styles, icons and fonts are loaded from public content delivery networks (jsDelivr, cdnjs, jQuery CDN and Google Fonts), which receive your IP address as part of delivering those files.

How long it is kept

Records are kept for as long as your department uses the service, or until an administrator deletes them. Activity logs are removed automatically after the period set by your administrator.

Your choices

You can update your own profile at any time. To correct, export or delete other information about you, ask your department administrator, or email contact@stewardingos.com.

Changes
